Monte Halperin, OC, OM (August 25, 1921 – September 30, 2017), better known by the stage name Monty Hall, was a Canadian-born emcee, producer, actor, singer and sportscaster, best known as host & producer of the television game show Let's Make a Deal. In 1979, he hosted a revival of Beat the Clock.

Hall's 95th Birthday Celebration with BuzzrEdit

On August 25, 2016; due to his 95th birthday, the network started airing four episodes of Let's Make a Deal along with two episodes of the short-lived 1979 revival of Beat the Clock.

Monty Hall TributeEdit

Due to his passing, from October 3 until October 4, 2017; Buzzr did a tribute to him with a mini-marathon with various episodes of his hit created show Let's Make a Deal along with the short-lived 1979-80 revival of Beat the Clock. Additionally, the block reran again on October 7, 2017.


Hall died from heart failure at his home in Beverly Hills, California at the age of 96 on September 30, 2017.
