Game Format[]

Each 80s episode featured four contestants who were presented with products whose prices they had to guess. The competitor who guessed correctly or closest got a point. The one with the most points at the end of the program made it to the finals, where there were two main prize options. The competitor had to guess their price, and the winner was awarded the product whose price was closest. For example, if the main prizes are a 5,500 markka stereo or a FIM 8,000 motorcycle, and the competitor guesses the price of the motorcycle at FIM 7,000 and the price of the stereo at FIM 2,500, then in the end he wins the motorcycle, because the assumed price of the motorcycle was closer to the correct price than the price of the stereo. The main prize was usually a new car or a trip abroad.

On the 1990s revival, after three pricing games, the player who scored nearest to 100 on the wheel without going over (Scoring 100 won 1,000 markkaa.) bid on a showcase after randomly selecting a win game range from 2,000 to 5,000 markkaa. In 1998, the range could be between 1,000 and 3,000.
