Medical Detectives was a proposed half-hour suspense series from 1960.
The proposed series was about the work of the public health services and their combating of mysterious diseases that attack individuals or communities. The series was derived from Berton Roueche's New Yorker magazine articles, that later on were also published in book form.
Filming of the pilot was planned to start on November 15, 1960 at Paramount Studios. Goodson-Todman signed Howard Erskine and Larry Marks to produce the series.
