Halfway House is a proposed series from 1963 that dealt with two elderly spinsters who run a boarding house for convicts on parole.
Elaine May was hired to act as script supervisor and also to contribute several scripts. The proposed series was to be filmed in New York with the intent to air during the 1964-1965 TV season. Goodson-Todman's vice-president, Bud Austin created the proposed sitcom.
