Chung sức (Together) is the Vietnamese version of Family Feud. It aired on HTV7 from January 6, 2004 until its cancellation on June 28, 2016, making it the second longest-running game show on HTV. It is also the longest-running television show ever produced by Đông Tây Promotion, an advertising company in Vietnam.

This is the first ever Goodson-Todman/Goodson show to ever be adapted to Vietnam, before Hãy chọn giá đúng (Choose the Right Price) based on The Price is Right (1972 version) later in the same year, and Siêu Sao Đoán Chữ (Superstar Guess the Word) based on Match Game (1973 version) in 2017.

Game Format[]

Until 2014, the show began with the teams being introduced by an announcer (similar to the Dawson and Combs versions of Feud by the late Gene Wood). In the show's early years, team members were mostly employees for the same company. Later on, any civilian contestant can form a team, and sometimes a team can involve celebrities as well. From September 2013 until 2014, contestants were students from elementary and middle schools in Ho Chi Minh City.

Two teams of four (similar to the Australian version) play each game, each compete to win cash and prizes. The game consists of 5 questions, with the point values doubled in the fourth question and tripled in the last. The team with the higher score wins the game and move on to play Tien nhanh (Fast Money). In case of a tie, the scores are reset to zero and one more question will be played, with the points worth nothing extra.

From around 2007 to 2015, sometimes a question will have a Đáp Án May Mắn (Lucky Answer). A team member will receive 1,000,000đ (3,000,000đ voucher in 2015) for giving the Dap An May Man.

The teams receive 10,000đ for a point scored in the main game (20,000đ in 2016).

The grand prize for the Tien nhanh (Fast Money) round is 10,000,000đ (20,000,000đ in 2016).

Trivia[]

  • The logo was based on the 1999-2006 Louie Anderson/Richard Karn era.
  • In 2015, Hari Won and Trường Giang were the first couple as hosts, they were then later replaced by Đại Nghĩa and Lê Khánh in 2016. This is the second international version of Feud to have couples hosting the show instead of one single person. The first one of that nature was the short-lived Turkish version called Aile Boyu (Family Size) hosted by Cagla Sikel and Emre Altug for TRT1 from 2010 until 2011. The third version was the Lithuania version under the name Ant Liežuvio Galo (The Tip of the Tongue) airing on BTV since 2016, hosted by Radistai Jonas Nainys and Rolandas Mackevicius.
