Game Format[]

The team who guessed closest to the correct numerical answer (1-999) played their own row of seven cards. If a joker turned up that couple won a prize and secured all exposed cards. The winning team started with 4,000 fr. (€99.16) and could earn another 1,000 fr. (€24.79) if they correctly answered the opening question. By 1988, the team started with 5,000 fr. (€123.95) which could be doubled if they correctly guessed which of two audience members guessed closest to the correct value of a prize. At the start of the second level, 6,000 fr. (€148.74) would be added to the couple's earnings. On the card at the top row, the couple must wager at least half of their winnings and they won a prize based on their final winnings after the final card.
