Broadway Preview was a proposed 90-minute taped drama series.
This proposed series would have asked various leading dramatists to write plays for the series, with the the intent that their play would be judged by a panel of judges. At the end of each season, the play judged to be the most popular of the season would have received the "Goodson-Todman Award," and a production of that play on Broadway. Philip Langner was the planned executive producer.
In Mid-1962, Goodson and Todman negotiated with Richard Boone to host and star in the proposed series. His production company would have co-produced the series.
It could be said that this was an early version of what would become The Richard Boone Show.
